This phase will entail firming up and signing off all plans including project plan, training plan, risk plan, change plan, test plans and meeting plans. Agreed plans will have fixed timelines and deliverables against each timeline. This phase locks project targets against which the client will measure the success or failure of the project. We will deliver a detailed outline of the plans with timelines that includes all relevant due dates and/or deliverables
We will adopt an Agile delivery model in which the outputs will be phased out based on requirements from different functions. Our preferred approach is to start with the easiest and most impressive outputs which the client can begin using immediately. The implementation process will be completed when the full client requirements are fully delivered as per the original project scope and objectives. We will identify and report any deviations from the plan, any scope creeps and any successes and failures. The PMO will track risks mitigation progress and report on any new risks identified during implementation phase. The Client will identify a Change manager and change champions. Our PMO will report on change activities and deviations from the change plan.
After the cool off period, the Project will be closed when the user signs off a Project closure Certificate. This will be after a post-implementation report has been prepared, shared and approved by the key stakeholders represented in the project. The project will be considered closed. Lessons learnt will be documented as part of the project closure phase.
